JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES : 

This position exists to take full responsibility for assisting Head of Internal Audit in managing and monitoring the implemetation of risk-based internal audit plan as well as any internal audit initiatives/projects. This position also considered as the place to develop Internal Audit Department future leader, which will ease organization purpose to promote internal talent to take managerial role responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Main responsibilities:

• Actively involve in risk assessment process for developing a risk-based internal audit plan
• In charge for the development (and update) of Audit Program Library for all auditable units in PML.
• Monitor and validate the implementation of audit recommendations by the auditee.
• Provide regular update to Head of Internal Audit on the progress of audit activities, including proactively communicate:

• circumstances which may require modification of the audit plan;
• significant exceptions; and
• inhibitors to audit progress.

• Assist Head of IA to Manage and monitor mandays budget vs realisation as well as staff scheduling and utilization.
• Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of audit activities and identify opportunity for improvement.
• Maintain respectful and effective communication and relationship with the auditee.
• Liaise with other compliance/assurance functions in PML and external auditors to ensure maximum coverage of risks and avoid duplication of efforts

Additional responsibilities:

• Assist Head of Internal Audit with Methodology & System Development to ensure that:

• Quality assurance and improvement program are in place
• Changes to IA methodology and IA polices & procedures are timely and properly implemented by other IA Officer
• Changes in current audit practices are timely captured
• Actively involve in knowledge management process

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree from any major
• Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in internal audit/risk management/compliance

1. Operations
   • Workforce Planning :
     • Participate for the company – wide manpower planning and budget exercise.
     • Delivery data – driven suggestions to ensure all strategic goals are achieved
   • Recruitment :
     • Identify and source potential candidates for all open positions within the organization
     • Provide recruitmnet advice and guidance to hiring managers and HR professionals with hiring and employment data.
     • Manage entire recruitment process and life-cycle, including intial assessments, interviews, and offers.
     • Mange posting of job advertisement, ensuring advertisments reflect correct image of the Company
     • Use social media, job board, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
     • Pre-screen and short list candidates to be shared with hiring managers.
     • Arrange interviews, ensure the required forms and pre-interview requirement are in order and conduct interviews.
     • Share with candidate on corporate benefits, slary, and corporate cultureEnsure compliance on all hiring document. Aplication form, Job Description (JD), Interview Assessment form, justifications and background check (if any) to recruit the best candidate
     • Promote and monitor the Employee Referral Program (ERP)
     • Ensure hiring process is completed within agreed Turnaround Time (TAT)

• 2+ years of IT work experience to write / analyze / test / debug code in PL / SQL and/or SQL query
• 2+ years experience in Oracle database and/or MySQL database
• 2+ years of IT work experience to analyze and gather business requirements
• 2+ years of experience in understanding data flow diagrams, data model diagrams and performing data analysis
•  Having experience in life Insurance lifecycle is an advantage

JOB PURPOSE :

This position will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and execution of a compliance program to assure that the Company’s business complies with all applicable laws, regulations and Company requirements.  This position is a strategic partner to all departments to maintain the structure to support a strong culture of ethical conduct in the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Participate in implementing company policies and programs involving regulatory exposure, including Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing, FCPA/ Anti-Corruption, Sales Practice reviews, complaints, marketing material review, gifts and entertainment, whistleblowing, fraud, FATCA/CRS and other topics as identified.
• Monitor business groups’ implementation of new or modified laws and regulations; review related action plans for completeness and appropriateness.
• Provide compliance support for new business initiatives, including new products and distribution channels.
• Help deliver training on regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Support compliance monitoring, testing, oversight, and reviews of key business practices to validate the effectiveness of control activities and assisg the business on action plans to address deficiencies.
• Assist in investigations involving allegations of fraud, misconduct and criminal activity.
• Perform other related tasks as required by management.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :

Educational Background:

• Min. Bachelor Degree

Experience:

• Min. 3 years’ experience in compliance, legal or internal control (audit or risk management)
• Experience working in an international organization or multi-lingual, multi-cultural company preferred
• Investigation experience desirable
• Strong information gathering and analytical skills with the ability to analyse and draw conclusions
• Knowledge of OJK guidelines for financial institutions (life insurance in particular) is a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Relationship management skills with the ability to partner and build professional relationships in a cross functional environment.

OTHER IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS :

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English preferred
• Insurance or compliance/risk management certification desirable (e.g., FLMI, AAI-J, CCEP)
